The listed production times will begin after artwork approval. Press Proofs Want to ensure that your order is perfect? For Enhanced Finishes orders, you have the option to order a press proof that will provide a small sampling of business cards, announcements, or postcards before committing to the design; call us for a quote. If your design needs adjusting, you can order another print piece with the new design. Digital Proofs Digital proofs are provided at no charge on all online orders. Digital proofs on manual catalog orders are available for $15.00 (R) each. For proofs that require typesetting and design, see “Art Charges.” This is NOT a press proof and is approximate color only. This proof should be used to evaluate copy, color breaks, and art/photo placement. Production time starts after proof approval. Enhanced Finishes Creating Your Enhanced Finishes Files Templates Standard templates are available to assist you in creating print-ready files. Import or place templates in your document as a non-printing reference guide. Proof your files before submission. Templates are available on the “Help & Resources” tab online. Swatch Library Our Enhanced Finishes Swatch Library can be installed on equipment that is running any Adobe product. This will give you access to our swatch colors and their mix settings to ensure that we print exactly what you create. The swatch library and instructions for installation can be found under “Help and Resources Enhanced Finishes” on our website. PMS Colors While we are often able to closely reproduce a spot PANTONE MATCHING SYSTEM® (PMS) ink using full color process, PMS spot colors and process colors are produced using different methods. Therefore, colors produced in full color will differ from PANTONE® spot colors, sometimes significantly. Please refer to the PANTONE COLOR BRIDGE® Plus Series for color conversions. Printing Black vs. Black Full Color Business Cards, Announcements, and Postcards with Enhanced Finishes should use 100% Black to ensure the best possible results on black elements. However, use Printing Black (C-80%, M-80%, Y-80%, K-95%) instead of 100% Black when in registration with other colors, in areas with heavy ink coverage, and for bold type or lines that are thicker than 21/2 points.
